As a Production Fit Model I’ve had the honor of working with and learning from over 70 different brands and designers. Over the past 10 years I’ve helped create numerous best selling garments, across genres of clothing, for domestic and globally reaching brands.
As a Fashion Model I’ve had the honor of walking in New York Fashion Week for multiple seasons and designers, shooting for brands like Macy’s, Kleinfeld Bridal, and Andie Swim, as well as appearing on the TODAY Show!

I’m plus-size. It feels necessary to address this given the current cultural climate around body image. Especially given how the fashion and entertainment industries reflect, influence, and create that climate. People have a lot of feelings about body type…particularly about body types that deviate from the beauty standard of thinness. It’s no secret that being plus-size comes with biases and judgments thrown onto you. The way I see it, I can’t much control someone’s pre-judgements on my body. However, I can try to shift the needle of these judgments through my work.
How do I do that?
Working in the fashion and entertainment industry means I have the opportunity to shift the needle, simply by showing up. Showing up, taking up space in the room, asking questions and inviting others to engage with me on the topic of size inclusion, as well as advocating for clothing, stories, and characters that don’t view body size as an obstacle or a punchline.
What can you do?
Help me and other plus size artists move the needle! Invite us into your spaces, create with us, talk with us, talk with others who are hesitant to have these conversations, and above all, strive to reflect, influence, and create a culture that is inclusive.
